What is one of your fondest costume memories?
I can’t pick one! Rapid fire top three – 1. Arranging main floor comps for my family and friends when The First National Tour of On Your Feet!, the show I was costume managing at the time, came through my home town. 2. l will always remember and draw encouragement from a passing moment when a mentor told me “You just have the knack for costuming”. 3. Afternoon “fruit time” at the Costume Shop at TTS with Dawn. IYKYK~
What are some of your favorite things about the shop?
I love how every piece of our shop is a collection of the Chicago artist community. Machines from Paul Chang’s Tailor Shop, supplies passed down from tenured colleagues, custom tables made by talented I.A.T.S.E. Local 2 Stagehands, wall decor curated by friends and family. The Costume Shop is a fresh and creative space to work in. I am thrilled to be part of the team!

What do you love about Chicago?
Have you been on the Chicago Architecture Boat Tour!? It’s pretty darn stellar.
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
My husband and I love to play cribbage, drink coffee, and host game nights with friends. When we aren’t at home in Chicago, we LOVE visiting our families in Denver and Seattle.
